Join us at The Condensery Social for a fun afternoon and learn the basics of using dyes from plants to create prints on paper!
We will start by making a bundle of paper and leaves, getting them straight in the pot to simmer for 2 hours. During this time we will discuss the dye process, different techniques, plants and what colour they release, importance of a mordant, the equipment you need to do this at home and how it all happens. We will also discuss what you can create with your dyed paper. After 2 hours we remove the bundles from the pot, ready and open to share the results!
