An artist led collage workshop with Artist-In-Residence, Kellie O’Dempsey.
This playful workshop explores the construction of images using collage and drawing with artist Kellie O’Dempsey. Learn how to use old and new printed pictures and compose them into fun and other worldly images by using mixed media techniques, pencils and markers, tearing, cutting and weaving paper. This workshop is for artists, artmakers and students at any stage and is excellent for generating new images and ideas.
This workshop will be held in two sessions:
- Children | 10:30am – 11:30am
- Adults | 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Later in the afternoon join Kellie O’Dempsey and sound artist Mick Dick in a live drawing and sound performance that responds to the architecture of The Condensery and the history of the Bomb Shelter. More information here.
