This school holidays join us at The Condensery for drop-in style arts and crafts that draw upon the healing properties of plants and flowers in the local Somerset region.
Come together to contribute to our ‘growing’ exhibition Healing Garden, led by internationally renowned artist Hiromi Tango in collaboration with local artists Makiko Ramsay and Jane Nicholson.
During these ‘drop-in’ sessions on Thursday 11 and 18 January, you will work with a trained Healing Gardener, Jane Nicholson who will show you how to create some of the beautiful flowers of the area. Jane will guide you through creating different types of petals, leaves and stems.
The session is also an opportunity to reflect on the natural environment, share stories, and experience the unique satisfaction of seeing your efforts combine to create a beautiful garden.
All materials provided. Participants are encouraged to bring recycled materials such as fabric, yarn, cotton and flower baskets from home.
Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
