In early 2022, Somerset Regional Council released its first Strategic Plan for The Condensery, presenting a three-year plan that provides a new framework and direction for the regional gallery’s development and growth. The Strategic Plan weaves together vision, values and a framework that drives The Condensery’s direction and programming.
The Condensery works in partnership with the community to deliver on Council’s mission – focussing on our customer’s needs; planning for the future; utilising resources efficiently and effectively; using sound business practices and utilising the practice of continuous improvement. The plan builds on the objectives outlined in the Somerset Regional Council Corporate Plan 2021-2026, most particularly its vision of being a vibrant, cohesive, connected and prosperous region.

Connect the Somerset community, and its visitors, with art and artists, through dynamic contemporary art exhibitions, commissions, projects, performances, events and activities that are brave and exciting, and create space for discussion and learning.
